Ready for A New Direction?

Ready for a new direction? You're at the crossroads, and the signs are clear...things are changing. This is the time to do it. You've come a long way already, probably made a "wrong turn" here and there. But wait! Those turns are the ones that got you here. You're at the exact spot that will give you the choices to go just where you need to go. Now that you ARE here, a choice stands before you. The signs point to different directions, representing ideas that may be vying for your attention. The next steps on the path take you closer to the heights, or they keep you on the level path, or they go up and down hills and through meadows full of flowers. Or something else! You won't know until you make the choice. So how do you make it? Listening to the Voice

The Voice is the signal that comes from nearby, or from far away. It is the sound of your own inner knowing as it wants to reach into your life. The drum above is from the South Seas, where it was used to communicate from boat to boat in times and places where radios were not around. It rolls out a deep bass tone that has the power of command, and can be heard for miles. It also may sound softly, and soothingly, as a background to singing. The Voice may be your own, or it may be that of someone you have not yet met. Or it could be one that belongs to someone that you know well, a friend or a family member. It may be welcome, or you may find that it disturbs you. Or, it could be both at the same time! Often the creative energy comes in by the side door, unannounced, and upsets the way we have been looking at life. What do you customers really want? And how can you make that happen for them? This essential duo of questions is the heart and soul of all business. Every company, every customer, has a list of concerns that need answers. When you are looking to create a business relationship, you need to look carefully at what those are, from your side of the conversation. You also need to get some information about these things from the customer's side. What is the most pressing matter that needs to be handled right away? Is that something you can provide a solution for in the near term? Or is it more of a long arc, a service that is ongoing, that you can provide more efficiently or with better results, rather than what the business is currently doing? If you are talking with a service provider, what needs do they have? Or, if you are a service provider yourself, what do your clients or customers need?
