The vibrant colors and shiny foliage are evidence of the power that is emerging. The beauty and poetic force of flowers endures through the ages, though the blossoms only last for days or weeks. The tight bud of hope holds the flower until it is ready to greet the world.
It's the same with words. It may take a long time for a message to mature and for it to reach its full expression. sometimes years of reflection and careful crafting go into a piece of writing.
At last, the author is ready to share it with the people who are its next place of refuge. With careful thought and tending to the details, the message is honed and made bright. It is wise to share the writing with others who are trusted companions, or with mentors, professional support people, those that you trust to speak truthfully with you about what you have to convey.
