The Turning Point

There's a time when you somehow know that things are about to really change.  You have gone on a certain path, done things a certain way.  It all seems to be working, yet in subtle ways, there is something that doesn't quite fit.

What is the idea, here?  How did things shift and you didn't notice?  Did something or someone in your life let you know that you weren't quite who you thought you were?  Or that things were not quite as they seemed?  The message may be subtle, or it may be a rude awakening.

All of a sudden, you see that the path you have been traveling is not going to take you where you thought it would.  The things that seemed easy are not easy at all, rather you see them as obstacles,  and you notice that you are ready to throw it all out the window.

How could this have happened?  What is going on?

STOP!
This is the time to take the action that is non-action.
This is the time to put down your suitcase
full of ideas, experiences, feelings,
and unpack.
This is the turning point.

This is your time to make things happen that work for you,
by listening to yourself.

As you go through the things you are unpacking, ask yourself some questions.
What is it that is working?
What is not working?
What would you rather have instead of that?

What path would take you to the place you want to go?  Do you need to turn around?  Or maybe a simple course correction will be enough.

Every creative process involves sorting through the huge amount of information that comes in.  Every person has a moment when things just plain don't work.  What do you do when you have that moment?

All my best, always,
Betty
